That may not seems like a lot but when compared what has been given from federal, and state, that can seems like a good amount of money.The budget that is supposed to be given to the state of Rhode Island, is 749.8 million .Only 37 of this is given to north providence for spending of the state use only. The city of north providence only receives $13.3 million form that budget. They only got 30% of their share, which is not enough because 7% of their shared was not given and that is not enough.

That little compared to the student that attended school in that city. Economic Characteristics:
In every school there must be room for improvement, from the safety and supportive reporting from the school by the students many facts were given. From the report of how many students get along with their teacher, 14% admit that they do get alone. What happen to the others if students can seem to get alone with teacher how would they be able to confront teachers about a issue . We can not base the fact of teacher not having an relationship with student be a problem but when 30%, said that drug have been sold to them before, and 25% said they have been robbed in school then it become a problem. This is when the question of school safety should be addressed. That is terrible compare to the school which everyone considered bad "Central Fall." 16% said they had been offer drug too for sell that 14% from the amounted of North Providence. The school of providence central fall 20% said they have been robbed one or more time in school.That five percent hight in North providence (“Safe and Supportive Schools: Students’ Point of View,” 2008).
We Believe:
all students can learn;
education is a partnership among students, teachers parents and community;
learning is a life-long process;
in on-going evaluation of the educational program in order to improve teaching and learning;
in setting high standards for students;
communication is an essential component of the educational process;
in an educational program that provides students with opportunities both in higher education and the global marketplace;
community service is an essential component of student growth; and
the school that recognizes and adapts to the needs of its students is successful.
(“North Providence High school,” 2001)
In the year of 2001, the congress passed the No Child Left Behind law, their goal was to get every students in America to reach the standard by the year of 2014. However, North Providence high seems to be accomplishing that goal really fast. North providence high school have reach that standard by the year of 2008, their reading , math and English skill reach the target,but not for every students . Every child is has meet the standard in this category, Hispanic, Asian,white,and economically students.The school has made insufficient progress toward their goal, because they have not met the target for disability students.So that mean that the school has not accomplish the goal of the state, no child left behind mean no child left behind. The school vision statement seems very convincing but the truth is they are not because they are fill with lies because occurred to the school report card that case seems to be a false statement because the school has not meet the " no child's left behind" standard.There vision statement said that "All student can learn, learning is a life -long process... the school that recognizes and adapts to the needs of its students is successful.The is hard to believe because they they did not meet the target for disability student in there school (North providence, 2007).
Conclusion
The school of North Providence has a environment which seems to confuse people because of outside appearance and people that seems to be attending the school. When we see the surrounding trees and the and the beautiful park we think that everything is fine but the truth is the school is like every other schools where the crime of rape and drugs seem to be one of the biggest conflict that going on in the school. There are rules and regulations that student have to follow but the truth is the school is suffering.
In the community we found out the family household and the family income are making more they are suppose to earned a year. Family below poverty are making least then they should, and that is not fair because we are living in the world where the rich are getting richer and poor are getting poor.

They must address the drug issues and the robber in the school and also tried to meet the standard for the " no child left behind law." because the school did not meet the standard.
The percentage of student are receiving school lunch are not that much compared to the one who are not, That is a problem because this shows why the performances of the school is very bad. These student does not have the strength to concentrate on their work, so the lack of understanding does not come from them.
There are parent whose income can not put sufficient food on the table for their children, some children actually depended on the school lunch and if the school of north providence is not feeding 75% of its student that seems like a problem to me.
There is not a school that would clam that it does not have a falling ground toward it. Within every school there would always be issues that it will face but the important point which the school district should remember is that there should always be room for improvement.
